Desktop Publishign Feature - Text Styles

Text Styles are a quick and easy way to maintain a consistent look and feel to all the text within a desktop publishing document. Styles consist of a set of text and paragraph formatting, including font, font-size, font color, paragraph align, etc. By applying a Style to a block of text, the text can take on all the traits of the Style in one click, rather than painstakingly applying each change separately.

Furthermore, once the Style itself is updated, all text having that Style applied is automatically updated as well. This makes changing the look and feel of a document extremely convenient, and gives users the ability to determine which text settings look best by experimenting with different Styles.
